Not The Final Chapter

If you have ever loved with a force stronger than the pull of the moon
And it was not reciprocated

If you have ever loved as steady as rain falls in a monsoon
And your heart was left weary and dilapidated

If you have ever loved to the end of the Tropic of Cancer
And it was scary as a free fall

If you have ever put your heart on the line like a high stakes gambler
Only to have your bluff called.

If you feel you’ve loved and lost
And you feel you’re at your final chapter

Open your heart to love again at whatever cost
Because, my love
loving yourself is what you’re really after.
